English for Professional Communication in Tourism and Hospitality aims to teach students job hunting mechanics, including using various job search strategies and making inquiries. The students will have the opportunity to prepare a resume, a cover letter, and a pitching video. In addition, the students will utilize relevant applications to prepare the resume and the video which will be sent to prospective employers in the tourism and hospitality industry. The students will learn communication skills for an interview including introducing themselves, highlighting their strengths and competencies, and responding appropriately to the interviewers.
