DFK30023 USER EXPERIENCE FUNDAMENTALS

This course introduces the basic concepts of User Experience (UX) including Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Interface (UI) design, and user-centered design. Students will learn how people interact with digital systems and understand important principles like usability, interface styles, ergonomics, and interaction models. The course includes practical activities such as creating user personas, journey maps, empathy maps, wireframes, and simple low-fidelity prototypes. Students will also carry out usability testing through expert and user feedback. Topics such as universal design, accessibility, and new technologies like mobile and wearable devices are also discussed. By the end of the course, students will be able to design digital interfaces that are effective and user-friendly.
